VERSION WATCHES

Founded in 2024 in Paris by Cybèle Vigneron and Carla Lanfranchini, Version Watches is an independent, contemporary watchmaking Maison. It creates Swiss Made limited editions for lovers of design and beautiful objects, holding technique to the same standard as aesthetics.

Inspired by the golden age of supersonic aviation and the hypnotic mechanics of turbines, the second collection is, according with Cybèle Vigneron, CEO off the brand “an invitation to travel without moving. It captures the tension between the engineering of speed and the serenity of the sky, a way of keeping one’s head in the clouds, at any hour of the day.”

In the V0201-TH, it is the sleek silhouette of Concorde, the precision of turbines, and the airborne art of living envisioned by Andrée Putman that come to life on the wrist. The 38 mm case of this new model alternates polished and brushed finishes, offering a balanced, contemporary presence reminiscent of the emblematic interior architect’s refinement, most notably visible at the Putman Hotel in Hong Kong.

To express this balance between earth and sky, Version Watches deploys a distinctive two-tone composition: a sober, satin-white base, letting the color of the translucent window above it comes through.

This progressive transparency, drawing on materials borrowed from solar watches, hints at the rhythm of the automatic caliber and offers a detailed view of the movement in backlight. The bezel, engraved with a polished beaded pattern, and the “railway” flange echo the repetitive motif of turbine blades, carried through to the crown, set with a colored cabochon matched to each variation.

At the heart of the timepiece beats a Swiss automatic Sellita SW200-1 AJ openwork movement, renowned for its reliability and robustness, offering up to 41 hours of power reserve, always Swiss Made certified. The collection is presented in three colors, emerald green, blood orange and azure blue. Each colorway is produced in 100 numbered pieces, for a strictly limited edition of 300.
