Jon Bon Jovi – Hampton Water
by Abdon FLORES
Maybe this would be a surprise for many people, but Rockstar Jon Bon Jovi is producing wine, and he’s producing it in France. Associated with his son, Jesse Bongiovi, and wine businessman and former rugby player Gérard Bertrand, he ventured into wine making in 2018.
Such is the origin of Hampton Water, the rosé wine which was presented in the temple of American pop Culture in Paris, the Hard Rock Café. The concept behind it was to unite the essence of the relaxed lifestyles of the Hamptons and the South of France.

Quite a combination since the wine has already received great notes and awards : 90/100 from Wine Spectator 2020 ; 94/100 from Drinks Business “Global Rosé Awards” and the Wine and Culture Star Award. The secret of its composition is as follows : Grenache 60%, Cinsault 15%, Mourvèdre 15%, Syrah 10%. All grapes sourced from the best terroirs in Languedoc.
The event presentation at the Hard Rock Café aimed also to announce the partnership between Hard Rock Café Europe and Gérard Bertrand. During this particular occasion, Jon Bon Jovi also signed a guitar honoring his wine. This white, curvy guitar is now part of the huge collection of memorabilia that adorns the walls of the place.
Hampton Water is the only rosé premium served in the Hard Rock Café. At 33.85 € the bottle and 8.95 € the glass, customers can enjoy the experience of the Hamptons’ elegance and the chic of South of France.
