Alchemy in Glass – JOLIPNJ

On August 25th, a new voice in artistic jewelry will emerge—one that speaks not through trends or templates, but through fire, intuition, and the silent language of glass. JOLIPNJ is not just a brand; it’s a living, breathing creative project that transforms the raw emotion of creation into sculptural artifacts. Each piece is a singular moment, crystallized forever.

At the heart of JOLIPNJ is borosilicate glass—chosen for its strength, resilience, and capacity to surprise. Artist Chloé Foulquier sculpts each piece by hand, using a blowtorch to coax out textures and colors that respond to subtle shifts in oxygen and gas. The result? Jewelry that is never replicated, always felt.

Once shaped, each piece is annealed to relieve internal stress, ensuring durability without compromising its poetic fragility. As Foulquier describes it:

“Capture a moment, an emotion, a gesture, crystallize all of this in a form and embody it in the material.”

JOLIPNJ rejects the rigidity of preliminary sketches. Instead, it embraces spontaneity and the tactile intelligence of the hand—echoing Henri Focillon’s Éloge de la main. The process is intuitive, emotional, and alive. Shapes emerge organically: fine, tense, chubby, fluid—each one guided by a gesture rather than a plan.

This philosophy is embodied in three permanent ranges, each composed of one-of-a-kind pieces. Alongside them, the “Lab” offers ultra-limited experimental drops, released in rhythm with the designer’s inspiration. The first drop will be unveiled on August 25th at jolipnj.com, where each ring is a unique model, waiting to find its wearer.

JOLIPNJ is not about adornment. It’s about resonance. Each piece carries its own DNA, waiting to be discovered by someone who feels its pull. It’s a meeting of singularities—one-of-a-kind work, one-of-a-kind being. As Pierre Soulages once said: “It’s by doing that I find what I’m looking for.” And in doing, JOLIPNJ finds something timeless.
