NOMOS Glashütte – Minimatik 39 date

NOMOS Glashütte has a new dress watch, the Minimatik 39 date, with a new gold-framed date window that indicates the current day in a sophisticated way. The classic date window, positioned at 3 o’clock, lies on the outer edge of the dial. Framed in gold, it is a subtle reference to the NOMOS caliber DUW 4601 beneath, which was introduced in fall 2024.

A contemporary dress watch with a hand-wound mechanical movement from Glashütte, Germany, its finely crafted stainless-steel case has an elegantly slim profile and sits comfortably on the wrist. Combining minimalist dot indexes and Arabic hour numerals gives Minimatik 39 date its unique charm, while the wide dial creates a distinctive and elegant look.

The NOMOS signature sub-seconds dial is now complemented for the first time by a date window with gold-plated chamfering, which is a subtle nod to the innovative hand-wound movement inside. In this in-house built caliber with a remarkable power reserve of 52 hours, the date ring surrounding the movement is finished in the same shade as the dial.

Minimatik 39 date is available in three versions, each with their own unique charm and appeal. Minimatik 39 date and Minimatik 39 date gold share a silver-plated dial. While the first is fitted with rhodium-plated hands, the latter has golden hands. As indicated in the name, Minimatik 39 date blue features a deep blue dial. Here, the hands are also rhodium-plated, with gold detailing reserved for the edges of the date window.
