The Denmark Pavilion – Paris JO 2024
During the Olympic Games, the Denmark Pavilion by Maison du Denmark is showcasing the good life from various perspectives with a particular focus on Danish strengths such as design, food, health, and sustainable solutions. A total of 22 business enterprises, cultural attractions, tourist destinations and organizations are participating, including companies like LEGO Group, Nordisk, and GN Group.
The Pavillion was inaugurated on July 26th by T.M. The King and The Queen of Denmark. The site is hosted by VisitDenmark, and it was CEO of VisitDenmark Katja Moesgaard who –together with the Danish Ambassador to France, Michael Starbæk Christensen– greeted the Royal couple at the entrance.

The Denmark Pavilion showcases Danish projects in four pillars: green transition, design, gastronomy, and well-being. These innovative and creative initiatives aim to solve every day, local, and global problems like plantable pencils or revitalized neighborhoods.
At the heart of the pavilion is the Danish church, Frederikskirken, which has been transformed into a cultural hub, where digital exhibitions, sound art, and captivating acts by Danish musicians will be performed daily. Among them, five exceptional Danish musicians (Dayani, JJ Paulo, Brimheim, LYDMOR and Teitur) will perform a series of 30 concerts. Each artist will present two daily concerts over three consecutive days, each lasting 20-30 minutes.

Probably one of the most attiring activities is the one proposed by the famous Danish brand LEGO. You can build your own LEGO flower and participate in fun games with Braille bricks designed for the visually impaired. The Heka VR avatar therapy demo, an innovative psychotherapy tool for individuals diagnosed with schizophrenia. This VR simulation empowers patients to confront and manage auditory hallucinations. Also, GN Hearing proposes hearing tests and to learn about their innovations in hearing and audio solutions.
A casual bar is displayed every day from 6 pm. Here you can try non-alcoholic beer by the famous brewery Mikkeller, or one of the purest waters in Globe, Iskilde Water, sourced from a pristine aquifer in the Danish Lake highlands. And for the hot summer Parisian days, from 3 to 6 pm ice lollies by Sunlolly will be offered to the guests.
The Culture Box celebrates Danish culture and community, an immersive experience with very high sound quality provided by Bang & Olufsen. The Denmark Pavilion welcomes everyone, offering free entry every day from 26th July to 11th August from 11 to 22h.
