Lovelouder FW 24-25

Lovelouder is a London based fashion brand that champions sustainable consumption, slow fashion, and conscious shopping. Drawing inspiration from traditional totems, their unique designs blend tradition with modernity, infusing fashion with profound cultural connotations and conveying a deep love and faith.

Its first inaugural ready-to-wear collection, “Arcane”, invites everyone into artist Nicola’s Eden. Inspired by the vibrant colors and weaving techniques of traditional ethnic groups, the Miao people, as well as their shared beliefs with Western classical mysticism regarding the elevated status of femininity, this collection offers a unique narrative experience. Each ensemble, showcased against the backdrop of Temple de Pentemont, carries its own story, inviting viewers to delve into the model’s background and the love they wish to convey.

The process of crafting this collection has been a journey encapsulating Nicola’s unique perspective on garments and their relevance to contemporary society. At the dawn of humanity, female nudity bore no connotations of display or perception by others. This inherent purity resonates throughout the collection, evident in silk red corsets adorned with bows, leather jackets transformed into armor, hand-embroidered pearls on traditional Miao aprons, and cashmere dresses embellished with silver accents. Lovelouders’ garments serve as a delicate yet powerful armor, inspiring empowerment and liberation.

Each piece boasts distinct characteristics, intricately tied to Lovelouders’ signature jewelry. Utilizing solely deadstock fabric and deconstructed vintage pieces, techniques such as weaving and embellishing corsets with silver beads and ribbons allow for reversible wear, adding versatility and depth to each creation.

In summary, “Arcane” isn’t just a fashion collection—it’s an invitation to explore and redefine the boundaries of art, empowering individuals along the way.
