Above and Beyond – Balmain NFT’s

To celebrate his 10th anniversary as the creative director of Balmain, Olivier Rousteing has decided to play digital and put Balmain in the world of NFT’s. Eight looks from the “Above and beyond” collection (FW21) have been digitalized in order to become virtual garments to be used in the fashion game app Worlds of you by Altava.
Only two pieces of each look were on sale through an open auction managed by Featured by Binance. Of course, the winning bid will be able to redeem the virtual asset to wear it in the correspondent metaverse and receive an official Certificate of Authenticity Card. The owner will be able to eventually unblock the NFT and sell it or trade it in the Altava market.
The auction hold through October 4-12 was rather satisfactory. The Balmain look 41 (Flight BAL021), for instance, was sold by 2,000 BNB (around 958.00 USD). Both this look NFT’s got that price. The collection, as it is already known, was inspired by uniforms of early pilots and astronauts rendering a futuristic, galactic set of clothes totally in rapport with the idea of what an NFT is.
