Poke Life Paris
The summer is coming; sunny days and extra heat require an adjustment in our diet. Either that or, just for the pleasure, why not trying Hawaiian cuisine? Just the idea of a paradisiac island makes you dream of freshness, fruity, healthy food. Pokés represent the essence of such gastronomy. The ones by Poke Life deserve your attention since some of them are signature pokés!
The Poke Life chef, Najia, is always searching for new combinations of vegetables, spices, grains and fruits, always in the aim to convince and surprise. One of the new pokés is Kohala: salmon marinated in spiced honey, passion fruit, edamame beans, avocado, grated carrots and sesame grains. If you add up Korean radish for instance, it will just be majestic. The Kohala is a signature poké, but if you happen to be in the restaurant you can actually compose your own poké. Always risky but fun when you are not familiar with the ingredients, it would actually be better and faster to pick up one from the menu.

France may be the country for sauces; well, for pokés they are essential. The Mango Rumbo (lemon, basil, garlic, olive oil and mango) or the Sweet love (raspberry, basil, lemon juice, olive oil) are a couple of original sauces that you can assort with any poké.
It is not surprising that you can find a variety of tasty and non-caloric desserts in a cuisine like the Hawaiian. Healthy is the common denominator in the Chia bowl and all the other fruit salads. Healthy would actually be the key word to define these trendy and popular dishes that, with the current pandemic and lockdowns, are a clever solution for a meal.
Poke Life is open 7/7 for meals and dinners. Delivered by Uber Eats and Deliveroo. 62 Rue de Chemin Vert, Paris 11ème.
