Pirelli Calendar 2020 – backstage pictures
The Pirelli Calendar has just released the backstage photos of the 2020 edition. Entitled Looking for Juliet, the renowned publication will see famous fashion photographer, Paolo Roversi, as the guest photographer. Pictures have been taken in two marvelous cities: Paris and Verona.
Usually, if the city of Verona is involved, Shakespeare is involved together with his fictional characters Romeo and Juliet. In order to play Juliet’s role, M. Roversi has picked talented women from all over the planet: British actresses Claire Foy, Mia Goth and Emma Watson; American actresses Indya Moore, Yara Shahidi and Kristen Stewart; Chinese singer Chris Lee, Spanish singer Rosalia, and the French-Italian artist Stella Roversi.
Inspired by probably the most popular of the Shakespearean characters, M. Roversi shots will show love, endurance, youth and beauty in each of his nine muses. According to him, he chose this subject since he’s always looking for his Juliet, and he will keep looking for her since Juliet symbolizes a major dream.
