Jean Munos, chef barman at Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme

Chef barman Jean Munos has a reputation of being a globe-trotter. His traveling experience has undoubtly contributed to enrich his knowledge regarding mixology. After Australia, South America, Asia and Eastern Europe, and after being awarded “Barman of the year” four times, M. Munos has been appointed chef barman at the Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme.

The peaceful and relaxing bar of this contemporary Palace, will certainly offer a plus thanks to this experienced man who likes searching his inspiration in gastronomy and pastry. His so called “twisted classics” have a special touch rendering a unique taste. Fruits, vegetables and spices find new aroma, savour and colors in the liquid world contained in the glass.

For the Park Hyatt Jean Munos has created three signature cocktails and three mocktails. The drinks have a clear Mexican influence, though M. Munos has a coup de coeur: the French 80 which is made with cognac.

 

 

1) Toasted Roni: Toasted Coconut Infused Mezcal + Sweet Vermouth + Bitter.
2) Marga Verte: Jalapeño infused Tequila + Green Chartreuse + freshLimeJuice + Agave Nectar + Basil Leaves.
3) French 80: Cognac + Orange Blossom + LuxardoMarashchino + Fresh Yuzu Juice + Champagne.
4) Virgin Suzie: Fresh Grapefruit Juice + Orgeat+ Orange Blossom + Soda Water.
5) Detox Lemonade #5: Fresh Yuzu Juice + Fresh Cucumber Juice + Ginger + Honey + Soda Water.
6) Berries & Co.: Mix Berries+ Eau De Coco.

The service at the bar will be open from 16-02h, every single day during the season.
