Fiat 500 by Repetto
by Abdon FLORES
Since the new Fiat 500 was redesigned in 2007, there have been many brands that collaborated with the Italian car maker in order to give a different touch for this iconic Italian vehicle. Now Repetto, the French brand famous for its ballet shoes, has ventured with Fiat to give another allure to the already modern Cinquecento. And yes, this is a car that Serge Gainsbourg would have own.
The design is rather elegant, an Opera Bordeaux color that enhances the spirit of Repetto, gives a stylish, smart touch to the automobile. A few decals show whose special edition this is. The leather tobacco upholstery was made by another Italian notable house: Poltrona Frau. The ivory interior perfectly combines with the other two hues to make a refined palette. An abstract sort of ballerina is the image the car projects.
The Fiat 500 by Repetto will be sold with motors of two and four cylinders, each with manual or automatic (Dualogic). Besides, a well assorted Repetto gift will be offered while buying it: a pair of ballerinas, a keychain and the Repetto eau de parfum. This special edition will be available from November 21st.
