Ensuite – modern fast food

Healthy food has been a trend in the last decade; the more our society copes with the future, the more attention we seem to pay to the environment and personal health. Organic, detox, Bio, sustainable, eco-friendly are some of the key terms of this dogma which has a worldwide impact. Surfing this wave of healthiness is Ensuite, a food place downtown Paris.

According to Boris Fabre, one of the three founders, the original concept for Ensuite was a juice bar where juices are cold-pressed. As it is known, cold-pressing preserves most of the natural qualities a fruit has, rendering healthier juices. At Ensuite, the many juices proposed remain the reason why people come by. But after one year and a half in business, the once juice bar evolved to become a restaurant whose statement is modern fast food but healthy.

 

 

The menu proposed by this relaxed restaurant comes from all over the world. Not the case for the raw materials which come from the well-known Rungis market, so assuring that only local products (Île-de-France) are used. Today, 80% of the ingredients come from biological agriculture; the scope is to reach a 100%. Moreover, Ensuite works with naturopath Anne-Flore Martinez whose advice is taken into account to create the menu.

The venue has an urban, well organized allure;  25 people can be accomodated thought most of the clients take orders to go. You can be delivered by Uber Eats, Deliveroo, Glovo and Foodora. A new site will open late this year and by 2020 a third one will be on the map. Open during week days (9-22h) and Saturdays (10-15h).
