A classic is back for this Baselworld edition: Blancpain’s Villeret collection. For those who prefer traditional watches, here is a great chance to own a gorgeous timepiece made by one of the most veneered watchmaking companies in the world. The Manufacture’s complete calendar GMT complication was originally introduced in 2002, and is now being enhanced with the brand’s patented under-lug correctors. Incorporating Blancpain’s latest technical innovations, the in-house Calibre 67A5 features a silicium balance spring for greater precision.

 

 

The dial is white (stainless steel version) or opaline (red gold version), with the applied stylized Roman numerals that are a signature to the Villeret collection. The movement has 28 rubies, 286 components, 72-hour power reserve, oscillating weight adorned with honeycomb motif, variable-inertia balance with silicon balance-spring, gold adjusting screws. The case measures 40 mm diameter, 11.80 mm thickness; it has sapphire crystal front and back. Hours, minutes, date, complete calendar with GMT double time zone, moon phases indicator.
