Hotel & spa Royal Madeleine

by Abdon FLORES

On May 2018, the Madeleine neighbourhood in Paris will regain a prime hotel on its streets. Owner Coralie Legrand will become director of her own hotel, the Royal Madeleine. Ms. Legrand imperative wish was to make of this just renovated, four-star hotel a familial yet elegant and modern place where snugness and comfort will be the emblem. For this to be done, she worked with interiors architect Marie-Paule Clout in order to reach such a meticulous and timeless décor.

The site recalls a former Parisian townhouse: wood panellings, mouldings, ceramics chimneys, blond floors, richly brocaded wallpapers… The 59 rooms recreate the bourgeois atmosphere of early 20th century; each chamber different from one another, they decline many ambiences and furnishings. A couple of must visit spots are the winter garden and the spa that has an air of Tuscany with luxurious vegetation alongside the swimming lane. All this exotic décor reinforces the idea of evasion, even if the hotel is located in the heart of the French capital.

For this new era of the Royal Madeleine Hotel, guests and neighbors of the area will find a restaurant and a bar. The proposed cuisine will be today’s trend: tasty and simple dishes made of seasonal products. The Royal au Bar will open at 17h and will propose tapas and sweet/salty appetizers to accompany wines, beers and cocktails.

A couple of conference halls will be available for seminars or any other business purposes. The Royal Madeleine rooms (16 to 44 m²) will be from 200€. Opening in May 2018.
