H. Theoria – French liquors
H. Theoria is a new liquor brand comprising three liquors which main feature is their complex composition: 25 to 30 different and special ingredients as the azuki bean, the cardamom or even the tomato. The brand’s goal is to develop a unique flavor derived from flowers, spices, herbs, vegetables and fruits from around the world.
The bottles labels already convey an idea of the tasting turbulence H. Theoria liquors posses. These surrealistic images were conceived by Samy Halim (Almost Famous Studio) and Joel Caussimon (Pixelis). Illustrations are inspired by the so called cabinets de curiosités and were designed by hand on an iPad.
The liquors have imposing names: Procrastination, Hystérie and Perfidie. They represent three universes that can be tasted according to a certain protocol. As if they were perfumes, they can be described by the notes of their components. Procrastination has a soul of American oak, black tea and jasmine. Hystérie is more feminine, having violet, cranberry, dragon fruit and estragon notes. Finally, Perfidie is rich in spices like cinnamon, pepper, ginger and blueberry.
Created by an expert in gastronomy (Camille) and an expert in fragrances (Marlène), this brand is a good example of luxury liquors with a story to tell. The H. in the name, for instance, is actually letter “eta” of the Greek alphabet, and it represents the link among matter and mind. These liquors are available in specialized places like the Paris Liquor Store, Maison Plisson or Les Caves du Parc.
